Richard Byrne is best known for his award winning blog, FreeTech4Teachers.com, which he started while teaching high school Social Studies in Maine. Today, Richard’s writing reaches more than 500,000 educators every month. His favorite thing to do is help teachers develop creative and practical classroom uses of technology. An energetic speaker, Richard has been invited to speak at events on six continents and would gladly go to Antarctica too. Richard’s work is focused on helping teachers and administrators use technology to improve the learning experiences of their students. His framework for using technology in education can be summed-up in three words; Discovery, Discussion, and Demonstration. That framework is used for explaining the purposes of the tools that he introduces during his presentations and workshops.
