Chelsey Roos (they/them) is a children's librarian at the Santa Clara County Library District, and has spent more than a decade creating playful children's programming in the library. Chelsey has presented to library staff across the country on creating neurodiversity-affirming libraries. Their writing has appeared in the 2025 ALA Editions book Using Literature to Support Children's Mental Health, as well as in Children & Libraries and the ALSC Blog.
