Sarah Kyrie is the Director of the Blanchardville Public Library in Southwest Wisconsin. She has been actively working for peace for over two decades. After her partner was deployed to Iraq in 2003, she had the earth-shaking realization that war is not good for anyone involved. She received an undergraduate in peace-studies from Fairhaven College in Bellingham, WA in 2009 and has been involved in various movements, groups and peace-networking ever since. Since 2013, librarianship at rural libraries has been one of her main vehicles of peace-work.
